Senior SAP CML Consultant
The Senior SAP CML Consultant is a key liaison between the Business Analyst and application development. The role is responsible for determining SAP design and configuration solutions that translate business needs into development requirements. Understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals on time and within budget. This role will work independently and in collaboration with IT Business Services to design, configure test and support quality IT strategic SAP solutions.
Responsibilities
- Work with internal Business Analyst and project members to identify and resolve SAP system issues, problems and/or enhancements.
- Provide highly innovative and creative solutions that achieve quality and process improvements with available hardware, software, databases and peripherals.
- Configure and support SAP CML including performing Unit testing.
- Provide day to day support for system issues and incidents raised by business users within SLA.
- Provide support and guidance to technical teams for required changes/fixes including but not limited to SAP development, basis, UI team and SAP PI.
- Work with Business Analyst Team to facilitate business requirements gathering process (SAP blueprinting)
- Work closely with Business Analyst and QA team developing a test strategy (particularly UAT)
- Work closely with the development team translating business requirements into development requirements and where appropriate perform the required SAP changes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in banking and loans management
- 5+ year in SAP CML.
- 2+ year experience SAP
- 10+ years with SAP projects; 5+ in SAP projects
- SDLC project experience participating in blue printing and configuration
- Defect Management experience for Post Production Support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills allowing easy integration with other functional consultants and team members
